Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy describes how purchases made from 42DOH ("we," "us," or "our") are handled across our products and services, including HireAnAier, Toxic Holden, and Radio 1978 (the "Services"). All payments are processed securely through our payment processor, Stripe.
1. Product-specific terms take precedence
Each 42DOH product may have its own detailed terms governing pricing, billing, refunds, and cancellation. HireAnAier, for example, is a paid product with its own multi-layer terms and conditions, and the refund and cancellation provisions in those terms govern any purchase made through HireAnAier. Where a product publishes its own refund or cancellation terms, those terms control for that product. This company-level policy sets out the general approach and applies where a product does not state otherwise.
2. One-time purchases
For one-time purchases, you may request a refund within 14 days of the purchase date if the Service was not delivered as described or did not function substantially as intended. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Purchases of digital goods or services that have already been delivered, accessed, or substantially used may not be eligible for a refund except where required by law.
3. Subscriptions and recurring billing
Some Services are offered on a recurring subscription basis. The following applies unless the applicable product terms state otherwise:
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
- You may cancel at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the current billing period.
- After cancellation, you retain access to paid features through the end of the period you have already paid for.
- We do not generally provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.
4. Free trials
If a Service offers a free trial, you will not be charged during the trial period. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your paid subscription begins automatically and the applicable fee is charged. The trial length and terms are disclosed at sign-up.
5. How to request a refund or cancel
To request a refund or cancel a Service, contact us at fortido@gmail.com with your account email and order details, or use the cancellation options within the relevant product. We aim to respond within a reasonable time and to confirm the outcome of your request.
6. How refunds are issued
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take several business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
7. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first so we can resolve it. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of your account while the dispute is reviewed.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent changes. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
